Today was the second spacewalk (Extra -Vehicular Activity, EVA) and the big item was to remove the P6 truss from the Z1 truss and have the Robotics arm move it out away from Shuttle and station to sit for a couple days. This was part one of the relocation. My team maneuvered the station during the robotics motion with the P6 since the center of mass is different. Again, everything went very smoothly. Also, the crew inspection the solar array rotary joint which has been having problems of vibrating the trusses on the starboard side when it's in motion. The crew found some metal shavings and collected samples.
Solar arrays = the bain of my existance
We definitely have some lessons learned for the next generation of solar arrays.
