This past weekend we spent a few days in Brazos Bend State Park. You may have seen Josh and Lisa's blog where Josh has already posted about this. Josh and Lisa came out to spend the day on Saturday with us. This park is really cool! It's only about 45 minutes away from home, has great biking/hiking trails, has alligators everywhere and houses the country's largest telescope that's open to public viewing at the George Observatory. Saturday evening, through peeks in the clouds, we got to see Saturn, Mars and the Moon at extreme closeup range. Here's a couple of pics.
