Back from Rusk

Hello everybody. The Green's got back from our latest camping adventure yesterday afternoon. The trip was a good one. (See the "Busy Week" post below for details on where we went). We rode our bikes and played around the campground on Friday and rode the train on Saturday. Here's a short pictoral history.

Guess what's going on in the picture below? What a pain!

Steam engine #300 was our escort on the 60 mile round trip expedition. She was built in 1917 and is actually an oil burning steam engine, (as compared to most that were coal burning). Luke thought it looked a lot like James, from Thomas the Tank Engine. We agreed, so that's what we called him the rest of the time.

Happy boys

Sleepy boys!

Looks like a great time...well except for that flat tire. Luke came prepared with his Thomas the Tank t-shirt! How cute!

Didn't you get a flat tire on your first camping trip on the Durango? I think I might see a pattern here! Was it flat while towing or a campground issue?

Everything else looks cool!!!

1 out of 3 isn't too bad, Mom! Melissa got a haircut on Friday, but Luke and I are our same, shaggy selves. hehehe Josh, yeah, I had some bad valve stems on my new tires the first time we took the camper out, this time the tire seemed to fail due to old age. There was a big blow-out on the sidewall. Didn't notice it until we pulled into the campground and got out to size up the campsite before backing in.
