Final week?
Things are moving along. The stone is finished and the yard was put in. We'll see if closing is this week or not!

Looks pretty sweet! Did they change the tile in the bathroom?
well, it turns out the lighting was playing a much bigger roll than we thought. we took a new piece of tile and laid it down on the floor and it matched really well. Then we took the same piece up and put it next to the backsplash and it matched really well - but looked way different.... soooo they are going to come back and re-do the grout so that it all matches but other than that it's gonna stay the way it is.
I thought as much, light can indeed be a big factor

UGGGG, NO! The tile is not the same, however, they are very very similar. To all you color blind people it looks the same. It wasn't just the lighting. And, I decided to fold and just have them redo the grout and hopefully it will look much better.
Don't give in...you agreed to something and they should come through with their end of the bargain!!

Bob the Builder has you in a tight spot on one hand they know they didn't do what they agreed to but they also know you need the house soon so they are less likely to do said agreements because they know you'll give! Frack the builders!!
For any negotiation to be successful concessions must be made on both sides.
No Way! The builder needs to build the house PER SPEC!! NO CONCESSIONS SHOULD BE MADE BY THE BUYER!!
