Call sign?

"How do you get ADCO from MCS anyway?"

When you are in the middle of having technical conversations in the workplace, questions posed such as this make the person seem.....I don't want to say stupid, but that is the best word in this situation.

For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, Motion Control System (MCS) is the name of the system on the station for the group I work in and Attitude Determination and Control Officer (ADCO) is our call sign on console. No relavance to anything technical for which we were having a conversation. Do you have any such conversations?
